Greetings:
Thank you for visiting our website. We would like to welcome you our community and hope that you become an active member of the association. By way of introduction, I would like to share with you a little information about us.
Lebanese Diaspora Network association (LebaneseDNA) is an NGO that is based in the United States of America. It was created to serve the Lebanese people both in the Diaspora and in Lebanon. The following is its mission statement:
“To serve the needs of the Lebanese people and seek to preserve and promote the cultural identity of the Lebanese nation worldwide through educational, cultural, media and humanitarian programs. Moreover, to aid people in need due to natural and man-made disasters, Lebanese and non-Lebanese.”
LebaneseDNA is an NGO that is a membership driven organization with a Board of Trustees that is elected by the membership. As a matter of principle, a yearly conference/forum will take place. LebaneseDNA aims to own and operate a digital television service that will focus its cameras in two directions. The first being the current events taking place in Lebanon and the second, equally as important, is the news from our Diaspora. We also aim to reconnect the Diaspora to the homeland in many different offerings. LebaneseDNA plans to assist the Diaspora in their effort to effectively rebirth Lebanon onto the world stage as an economic, social, and tourist powerhouse. We strongly believe that this can be accomplished by creating a 100% independent news agency that is uninfluenced by any party, color or self-serving individual. LebaneseDNA will get its launching through support from the people.
As stated in the mission statement, the goals of LebaneseDNA are to seek to preserve and promote the cultural identity of the Lebanese nation worldwide through educational, cultural, media and humanitarian programs. Our Strategic Planning Committee is currently creating the framework of a five-year plan for execution and implementation of the stated goals.
Should you have any suggestions, concerns, or compliments, please feel free to contact us. Respectfully,
Viviane Haber, DDS, FACD, FICD, Executive Director, LebaneseDNA
